1 A tip that I should have given earlier. In case you plan to add a swing door to the kitchen or to some other room, plan it at initial stage. The frame (chowkhat) for swing door has to be different from the single rebate and double rebate frames. It needs to be manufactured accordingly and fixed in position while fixing other frames.
2 All the above tips are for wooden shutters to be manufactured at site. These days, high quality factory made doors are being produced. These carry high dimensional precision and finest finishes.
